Poetry Event

We were lucky enough to sponsor a local Poetry event at The Lamb and Flag in Worcester- hot spot for poets and musicians. Our very own Michael Harte (Managing Director) put on a mouth-watering spread of cheese to keep all who attended fed whilst they were entertained. This also lead to Martin Lytton, Meadow Cheeses own Poet and Play write, contributing towards the show. Martin was honoured to open the show with a 20 minute set showcasing work from his published book ‘The Grave of Whispered Things’.

Family Fun Day- August 2014

On a sunny Sunday in August the Meadow Cheese team enjoyed the great weather down at the picturesque Eastnor Cricket Club. Over 120 members of Meadow Cheese with their families come down to enjoy the sun and an all-around fun filled day of pillow fighting, bouncy castles, bucking broncos, magic tricks (enjoyed by the adults) , football and let’s not forget the amazing BBQ.  Big thank you to our two organisers for arranging such a brilliant day out - for the whole family.

Race For Life

A group of our ladies decided it was time to make a stand against cancer. July saw our female members run 3k for Cancer Research- which could not have been done without the help of our two fitness fanatics Robert Kennedy and Jon Rawling's coaching and advice. On the day six members ran the 3k- one member walked with our three honouree ‘kiddie’ members.  The final count saw the team raise in excess of £700 for Cancer Research UK which is amazing- well done team- 10K next year?
