Halal Authentication - April 2013
We are pleased to announce that Meadow Cheese has recently been added to the Halal Food Authority’s (HFA) network of certified members. Following a recent inspection audit, the HFA was satisfied that our method and process of manufacture was in accordance with their Halal standards and that we operate in compliance with relevant EU food hygiene, food safety and HACCP regulations.
Meadow Cheese Attend IFE – March 2013
Meadow Cheese successfully attended the International Food & Drink Exhibition (IFE) 2013 held at London’s ExCel. The show hosted over 1,200 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and welcomed nearly 30,000 visitors from 88 countries.
We were delighted to present our range of value added cheese and dairy based ingredients for both savoury and sweet applications and our samples were very popular!

Cream Stabiliser - February 2013
Meadow Cheese has launched a new Cream Stabiliser Solution which enables food manufacturers to stabilise cream in-house to produce whipping cream with reduced fat, saturated fat and cost.
With limited supplies of pre-stabilised cream available on the market and whipping cream easily purchased, the new Cream Stabiliser Solution gives food manufacturers considerable cost savings and the opportunity to ‘value engineer’.
Use of the new Cream Stabiliser allows the total fat content of cream to be reduced down to as little as 28% fat (16% stabiliser solution, 75% cream and 9% skimmed milk). Functionality and stability of the cream is not compromised by using the solution and can even extend the whipped cream’s organoleptic shelf life.
Meadow Cheese Gains Five Stars – January 2013
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded with a top rating of 5 stars by the British Safety Council for our Health and Safety Management System. This is the second year in succession that we have achieved this exceptional standard here at Meadow Cheese.
Setting SMART objectives at board level has been key to our success, coupled with the acknowledgment that in order to improve performance we had to step beyond a culture of mere compliance. This focus on Health & Safety performance has not only enabled the company to attain excellence in its Health and Safety Management system but has had tangible effects on product quality and reliability through improved staff engagement.
